Easy Meal Prep and Simple Recipes
Minimalist Baker
One of the best features about Minimalist Baker from food stylist and photographer Dana Shultz is that the recipes themselves are simple and easy to make. At least one of the following qualifiers is true for each recipe: takes no more than 30 minutes, requires just one bowl, and includes 10 ingredients or fewer. All of the recipes are plant-based and most are gluten-free. Shultz is also the author of the 2016 book, "Minimalist Baker's Everyday Cooking."
Stone Soup
The tagline for this blog? Six-ingredient dinners. Jules Clancy of Stone Soup has quick and flavorsome meals down to a science. In fact, Clancy started her career as a food scientist before becoming a full-time blogger and author of the 2013 cookbook, "Five Ingredients, Ten Minutes."
Clancy, who has diabetes, specializes in easy-to-make low-carb recipes. She specifically developed low-carb recipes using real, whole foods to help manage her condition.
Cleverful Living
Registered dietitian and mom Holley Grainger provides nutritious recipes and healthy food ideas that are simple to make and that kids will love. She tackles this feat on Cleverful Living by serving up simple solutions and tips for everyday meals.
For example, Grainger's recipe for Shortcut Loaded Mashed Potatoes starts with refrigerated mashed potatoes (in other words, no peeling, boiling, or mashing). The Slow Cooker BBQ Tender Roast recipe offers several ideas for healthy leftovers.
KISS in the Kitchen
The "KISS" in KISS in the Kitchen stands for "Keep It Simple Shannon," a phrase that blogger Shannon Garcia's father would always say to her. Garcia's healthy recipe ideas live up to that moniker. Simple, easy, and nutritious—and as a bonus, most are gluten-free as well.
